Faculty advisers anchor the College’s commitment to students’ academic development. By virtue of their commitment to and close interaction with students, faculty are best positioned to understand their students’ academic potential and needs, and how to best cultivate the students’ academic and professional promise. At Lafayette, faculty academic advising is an integral part of teaching.
